My Macaroni cheese

Very often I am inspired by my students as to what to cook at home. The same happened today! I also prepared some simple but very tasty macaroni cheese for my family.

  • To keep this dish low in fat I used skimmed milk. 
  • To increase the Vitamin content I added some steamed frozen vegetables. All kinds of vegetables can be added to this dish.
  • I also used two separate oven proof dishes in which I could also serve. (Saves on washing up afterwards!)
  • You could use a spring of parsley for a pop of colour, unfortunately I had none so I used some tomato wedges and dried parsley  instead. 
  • As you can see you can easily modify this recipe to suit your needs.
